Thanks to the Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA)!

2023 was a pivotal year for Maryland’s expanding market - we hosted the Maryland Cannabis Summit as legislation was framed and the doors to the Adult Use market were opened for qualified Social Equity Applicants like Kent Reserve. We helped them prepare for the application, strategize their approach, and stay compliant. They moved carefully with their eyes on a specific building in rural Kent County while waiting to hear if they won the lottery. They did.

Moving quickly, the team put their wheels in motion to set up vendor relationships, get the answers they needed at the local level, and comply with the MCA’s Supplemental Application and investigations phase. Within a few short months the former bank location had been redesigned and rehabilitated as an efficient dispensary. Being the first Social Equity licensee and the first dispensary in the county is a major milestone and it was great to see regulators and industry insiders support the opening day.

New Jersey’s Going Strong!

Since legalization in the Garden State, Longview has been criss-crossing counties in the state securing approvals, getting doors open, and being a resource for leaders stepping into the industry.

The greatest highlight of the past five years has been our clients’ trust as they’ve gotten through difficult bottlenecks across the state.

It’s an honor to have won New Jersey Cannabis Insider’s “Excellence in Consultancy: Application Development” Award for our work helping teams succeed in the state since 2018. Over these years we worked closely with the grassroots network of advocacy groups, association leaders, and political affairs specialists that helped legalize in the Garden State.

This award was the culmination of years of on-the-ground efforts to help clients connect the dots and companies reach the developing industry and we’re grateful to have been recognized.

Since 2018 Longview has produced a dozen industry-building educational events and mixers in the Mid-Atlantic and across the country to bring the industry together.
